ZX81
are a new outfit from South Wales. Formed by former Flyscreen singer/bassist
Paul Karter and drummer Tony Corten along with Bianca Cocco and brothers Russ
and Andy Prothero. ZX81 release their first collection of compressed noise via
this site. The band take a postmodern approach to music and are just as likely
to take their influences from film and literature than from music alone. Theirs
is a as yet unseen, unique blend of dance but with real songs that you can sing
along to. Songs stuck through the sonic blender, picked up and dusted down and
blasted through the speakers faster than mere paper cones are willing to handle.
